About Us

I was born and raised on my parent’s farm in southern Davies County in Indiana. My love of caring for animals started at a young age. My sister’s and I would go to the cow barn with mother when she went to milk them. Mother had stools for each of us to sit and watch. We also took turns taking the feed cart around to feed the sows (mother pigs) in the farrowing house. (a building for them with their baby pigs) We had horses also. We took buggy rides with them.

My father bought a litter of 4 kittens. We each got to pick our kitten.We put so much love and care into pampering each of our kittens.We also always had a puppy on the farm that we would play with and then later become a watchdog for our farm. There was always a tight bond formed with all the animals we cared for on the farm.

Once I grew older, I decided to find a canine companion. At first I had difficulty finding just the right breed. Then I met Ripples, my friend’s Goldendoodle, and fell in love! Those soulful eyes, that sweet, loving personality, the amazing feel of that coat — I was instantly hooked!

Ever since, I’ve been raising F1b Mini Goldendoodles, trying to find the perfect combination of nature and nurture. I haven’t gotten there yet, but I’m getting pretty close!
